Ray and Angela Hale
Ray and Angela Hale are passionate about endangered species. They have travelled the length and breadth of both Indonesia and Malaysia. They have spent time in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in search of extraordinary creatures.
They have discovered and photographed hundreds of species. From the endearing Orangutans to the tiniest of insects. In 2017 they discovered a new species of katydid cricket in Borneo and in 2021,a new species of cave spider in Sarawak.
Ray is an author and journalist and has written many articles on Southeast Asia and its people, wildlife and culture. Over the last 30 years, Ray has delivered many lectures around the world. They are both committed to reconnecting people with nature and conserving the Earth’s endangered species.
Angela is a professional artist in the UK and on board she will be on hand to give tips and advice to any would be artist who wish to draw or paint wildlife. Be you young or old you will be able to learn a little more about painting and begin your journey into artistry.
